If you are coming from Nottingham to Southwell you will likely find yourself driving on Nottingham Road. If you are on Nottingham Road you will have come through the village of Thurgaton. After you have passed The Old Vicarage Boutique Wedding Venue you will find a right turning onto Allenby Road (opposite a turning left to Westhorpe).

Drive on down Allenby Road until you reach another T-junction then turn right. On your left, you will soon see a small house and gate with signs to Norwood Park, turn down here. Carry on along the long country road, passing through the golf course and Norwood’s extensive gardens until you find yourself at the back of the main house.

Eventually, you will find yourself facing the Saracen’s Head Inn at a small roundabout, turn right here. Follow the road as it veers left through Southwell’s one-way system on Queen Street.
