Destination Wedding at Airelles Gordes, La Bastide

There are destination weddings, and then there are Provence weddings. Rebecca and Danny’s multi-day celebration at Airelles Gordes, La Bastide was exactly that, effortless, refined, and deeply considered from start to finish.

Set above the Luberon valley, the venue’s panoramic views became more than just a backdrop, they defined the entire atmosphere of the weekend.

A Multi-Day Wedding Experience in Provence

Travelling from the UK, Rebecca and Danny brought their friends and family to the South of France for a full wedding experience rather than a single day.

The celebrations unfolded across multiple events, allowing guests to settle into the rhythm of Provence. Long lunches, golden-hour light, and that sense of unhurried luxury that places like Airelles Gordes, La Bastide do so well.

A standout moment came with the pool party, where British DJ Marvin Humes set the tone bringing a completely different energy to the weekend and creating a contrast to the elegance of the wedding day itself.

Modern Elegance Against the Luberon Views

The design direction was intentionally restrained: a palette of creams and whites layered with soft textures and sculptural florals.

Curved reception tables created a fluid, contemporary layout echoing the landscape beyond and allowing every guest to remain connected to both the celebration and the view.

The setting itself did much of the work. Few venues offer the same visual impact as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, and here, the design enhanced rather than competed with it.

Bridal Fashion: Galia Lahav in Provence

Rebecca’s choice of gown by Galia Lahav brought a couture edge to the day structured yet romantic, modern yet timeless.

Seamless Planning & World-Class Suppliers

The weekend was brought together by planner Kristina Kempton, whose approach ensured every element felt cohesive without ever feeling over-designed.

Captured through the lens of Greg Fink, the wedding naturally leaned into a soft, editorial style perfectly suited to the Provençal light.

Florals by Miss Rose by Perrine added depth and movement, complementing the neutral palette while maintaining a sense of effortlessness.
